  23 July - Representatives of 24 African countries met in Benin to discuss sharing information on natural resources, as called for by UNCTAD´s 13th African oil, gas, and mines conference.
 19 July - UNCTAD experts in technical cooperation and gender issues attended a conference in Tehran aimed at advancing high-level participation by women in Iran´s business sector.
 16 July - At an international seminar in Seoul on 19-21 July, statistical agencies, international organizations and other relevant stakeholders will discuss new developments, trends and challenges related to ICT statistics. Participants will assess progress and exchange experiences on measuring different aspects of the information society.
 13 July - UNCTAD´s Secretary-General has been invited to the High-Level Advisory Group on Climate Change Financing -- joining several Heads of State -- to spearhead the UN´s role on the issue.
